Here is a guide to obtaining the Child Registration Certificate in Pakistan (NADRA B Form)

In order for a child to have a legal identity, a birth certificate is essential. Child Registration Certificates (CRCs) or B-forms are birth certificates in Pakistan. Minors under the age of 18 are registered with it. Once an individual reaches the age 18, obtaining a Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) can be challenging without a CRC for legal identification. CNICs are also used to prove Pakistani citizenship, enroll in school, register to vote, register for bank services, register for mobile phone SIM cards, and apply for a passport.

Approximately 34% of Pakistanis, including 34% of men and 33% of women, have registered their births, according to the World Bank Group’s 2018 #ID4D Global Dataset. Obtaining a CNIC, later on, can lead to numerous complications. This results in a lack of essential services for the people.

A Child Registration Certificate (CRC) or B-form in Pakistan can be obtained by following the steps outlined in this article.

Documentation of childbirth is required to obtain a CRC in Pakistan. Children must be registered with their parents’ Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs).
